05306 Possible Causes:
05306 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 05306 Code
- Inspect all the connections charge pressure fan relay (j712), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
