This something to do with the intake camshaft timing angle sensors 2 for butterfly valve drive 2 (g298), signal too small the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles nox sensor bank 1, circuit low or engine oil temperature sensor (g8), circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
05302 Possible Causes:
05302 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 05302 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 3, biased / stuck lean
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
