When you open exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 1 (g448) retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 3, biased / stuck rich you can see the turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid c (n388), signal low is the final reason of the code. |
05293 Possible Causes:
05293 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 05293 Code
- Inspect all the connections signal for back-up lights, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
