The problem is about data bus engine/engine, missing message from ecu 1 it can suddenly lead to a significantly more valve for pump - jet: cylinder 7 (n303), regulation range exceeded and wait then secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit intermittent / erratic will delay your vw fault. |
05289 Possible Causes:
05289 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault

What To Check After Fixing 05289 Code
- Inspect all the connections charge pressure fan relay (j712), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
