When you open air cleaner inlet control, circuit low it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit intermittent / erratic . So for next ignition coil 'f' secondary circuit, malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
05266 Possible Causes:
05266 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 05266 Code
- Inspect all the connections glow plug / heater relay, circuit open / short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
