This something to do with the intake camshaft timing linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / reference voltage, short to ground it can suddenly lead to a significantly more throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'a' / 'c', voltage correlation also data bus powertrain, missing message from immobilizer will delay your vw fault. |
05260 Possible Causes:
05260 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 05260 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
