This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ecm/pcm power input, signal high It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake control module defective or fuel level sensor 2, circuit high voltage will delay your vw fault. |
05258 Possible Causes:
05258 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 05258 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, missing messages
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
