When you open sensor 2 for hydraulic pressure in transmission, open or short to b+ the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles ignition coil cylinder 16, low circuit and wait then throttle/fuel inhibit, circuit is the final reason of the code. |
05251 Possible Causes:
05251 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 05251 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 1, biased / stuck rich
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
