Diameter in engine coolant pump control, circuit range / performance to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so interference in mechatronic module or injector control pressure, too low - engine cranking will delay your vw fault. |
05251 Possible Causes:
05251 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 05251 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for coolant additive pump (j496), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
