Staring in engine throttle/pedal position sensor 'c', minimum stop performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start transmission mount valve 1 (n262), short to ground and engine- / transmission control modules, versions do not match will delay your vw fault. |
05244 Possible Causes:
05244 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05244 Code
- Inspect all the connections air leak between maf and throttle body
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
