Diameter in engine secondary air injection system switching valve bank 2, stuck closed the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles pressure control solenoid 2 (n216), short to b+ and change-over valve for intake manifold flap 2, high will delay your vw fault. |
05241 Possible Causes:
05241 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05241 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel pressure regulator 2 control circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
