Accumulated in electronic control units so pressure sensor for brake boost (g294), implausible signal mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor sensor 3 for intake air temperature (g520), signal low and wait then engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
05238 Possible Causes:
05238 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05238 Code
- Inspect all the connections coolant fan (v7), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
