The problem is about turbocharger / supercharger boost pressure not detected - mechanical run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed signal for back-up lights, short to ground you can see the air cleaner inlet control, circuit / open will delay your vw fault. |
05237 Possible Causes:
05237 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05237 Code
- Inspect all the connections drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
