The problem is about accelerator position sensor 2 (g185), signal too low the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit high bank 1 and wait then reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 2, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
05229 Possible Causes:
05229 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05229 Code
- Inspect all the connections vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
