This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ecm/pcm power input, signal range / performance run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed barometric pressure sensor 'a', circuit range / performance or ignition switch accessory position, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
05229 Possible Causes:
05229 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 05229 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
