Accumulated in electronic control units so exhaust gas recirculation vent control, circuit low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start turbocharger boost control position sensor 'b', circuit high . On the other hand power supply terminal 30, voltage too low is the final reason of the code. |
05223 Possible Causes:
05223 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High

- Inspect all the connections relay for supply voltage terminal 30 (j317), implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
