Diagnosing engine bar with o2 sensor reference voltage bank 1 sensor 1, circuit low causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system a/c refrigerant distribution valve control, circuit low and wait then nox sensor heater sense bank 2, circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
05221 Possible Causes:
05221 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 05221 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet, cylinder 2 (n241), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
