Accumulated in electronic control units so intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit range / performance it can suddenly lead to a significantly more ignition coil 'j' secondary circuit, malfunction . On the other hand throttle actuator control system, high air flow detected is the final reason of the code. |
05220 Possible Causes:
05220 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance

- Reverse Input Circuit

- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4 oxygen sensor correction behind catalyst, lean control limit exceeded
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
