The problem is about relays for large amount of heat (j360), short-circuit after pluses run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed fuel shutoff valve "b" control, circuit / open also exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
05217 Possible Causes:
05217 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 05217 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for small amount of heat (j359), disconnected or short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
