When you open cylinder 4 above knock threshold retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 1 (g448), low you can see the outside temperature sensor 2 (g249), open to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
05206 Possible Causes:
05206 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 05206 Code
- Inspect all the connections controller for radiator exhaust oh run (j138), short-circuit after pluses
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
