The problem is about water in fuel sensor, circuit low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor tiptronic switch down, circuit short to ground also vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
05205 Possible Causes:
05205 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High

- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 05205 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 3, o2 correction behind catalyst, b1, limit attained
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
