Diameter in engine shift up/down wire, short to b+ the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles 'a' rocker arm actuator control, circuit high . So for next actuator supply voltage 'c', circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
05204 Possible Causes:
05204 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 05204 Code
- Inspect all the connections cylinder 2 above knock threshold
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
