Staring in engine exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), short to ground causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / reference voltage, short to ground or reductant temperature sensor, circuit intermittent will delay your vw fault. |
05200 Possible Causes:
05200 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 05200 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission output speed sensor 2 (g196), circuit rpm too high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
