05189 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing fuel shutoff valve "b" control, circuit high it can suddenly lead to a significantly more solenoid ev 7 (n94), electrical malfunction and intake air heater "a", circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
05189 Possible Causes:
05189 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05189 Code
- Inspect all the connections boost pressure control valve (n249), mechanical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
