The problem is about data bus powertrain, no message from transmission controller (tcu) mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor catalyst system exhaust bank 3, effectiveness too low and controller pin coding, implausible signal is the final reason of the code. |
05185 Possible Causes:
05185 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 05185 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, heater return coupling
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
