This code were stamped on VW Engine case exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 1 (g448), low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust gas recirculation cooling system, performance and wait then fuel fired heater, disabled is the final reason of the code. |
05181 Possible Causes:
05181 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 05181 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of central electric ecu
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
