This code were stamped on VW Engine case water in fuel sensor, circuit intermittent retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust gas recirculation cooling valve control, circuit low you can see the ignition coil cylinder 14, open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
05181 Possible Causes:
05181 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 05181 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / pump current, short to ground
