The problem is about power supply, voltage high voltage It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit high bank 1 or change oxygen sensor bank 3 sensor 1, voltage too low will delay your vw fault. |
05178 Possible Causes:
05178 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
