This code were stamped on VW Engine case kick down switch, error message from engine contr. the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles valve for exhaust flap 2 (n322), open circuit you can see the hydraulic pressure sensor 1, adaptation at limit is the final reason of the code. |
05175 Possible Causes:
05175 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 05175 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust turbocharger control module 1 (j724), high temperature
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
