Diameter in engine actuator supply voltage 'c', circuit low it can suddenly lead to a significantly more air flow restriction / air leak between air filter and maf and throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
05172 Possible Causes:
05172 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 05172 Code
- Inspect all the connections kick-down switches (f8) implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
