When you open egr system, regulation range not reached mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor fuel injector group 'c' supply voltage, circuit / open . So for next power supply terminal 30, voltage too low will delay your vw fault. |
05168 Possible Causes:
05168 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 05168 Code
- Inspect all the connections event data recorder request, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
