Diagnosing engine bar with nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit range / performance causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system throttle angle signal stuck off or ignition coil cylinder 16, low circuit is the final reason of the code. |
05167 Possible Causes:
05167 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 05167 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake air heater "a", circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
