05165 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine valve for fuel bypass (n312), short-circuit after pluses causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system generator shut-off, open or short to ground you can see the 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
05165 Possible Causes:
05165 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 05165 Code
- Inspect all the connections ecm/pcm internal engine off timer, performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
