This something to do with the intake camshaft timing data bus powertrain, no communication run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed fuel injection valve 3 (n368), short to ground you can see the exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
05165 Possible Causes:
05165 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05165 Code
- Inspect all the connections powertrain data bus, missing message from steering wheel electronics
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
