When you open transmission faulty the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit intermittent / erratic and 'a rocker arm actuator control, circuit / open will delay your vw fault. |
05157 Possible Causes:
05157 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05157 Code
- Inspect all the connections angle sensors 1 for butterfly valve drive 2 (g297), signal too largely
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
