Accumulated in electronic control units so 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit / open it can suddenly lead to a significantly more powertrain data bus, missing message from instrument cluster you can see the intake manifold runner bank 1 control, basic setting aborted mechanical limit closed is the final reason of the code. |
05157 Possible Causes:
05157 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 05157 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of brake system ecu
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
