This something to do with the intake camshaft timing engine torque reduction, short to b+ causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system valve for pump - jet, cylinder 6 (n245), electrical malfunction and glow plug/heater relay 2 circuit, open or short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
05153 Possible Causes:
05153 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05153 Code
- Inspect all the connections angle sensors 2 for butterfly valve drive 2 (g298), signal too small
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
