Staring in engine internal control module, malfunction causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system ng high pressure valve (n372), short to ground you can see the wheel speed signal 3, range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
05151 Possible Causes:
05151 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 05151 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'd' primary control, short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
