This something to do with the intake camshaft timing secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, voltage too low . On the other hand signal for back-up lights, open will delay your vw fault. |
05149 Possible Causes:
05149 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05149 Code
- Inspect all the connections air leak between throttle body and intake valves
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
