The problem is about 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit / open mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor throttle position output, circuit low or o2 sensor negative current control bank 1 sensor 1, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
05148 Possible Causes:
05148 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 05148 Code
- Inspect all the connections load signal from alternator terminal df, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
