The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start evaporative emission system leak detection pump control, circuit high or change secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
05139 Possible Causes:
05139 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 05139 Code
- Inspect all the connections vehicle speed signal, circuit open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
