Staring in engine exhaust bank 4 mixture adaptation range 3, lean limit not reached mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor 'a' rocker arm actuator control, circuit / open and secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
05122 Possible Causes:
05122 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 05122 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control valve 1 (n215), open / short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
