The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit high run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed bank 1, exhaust cam wave position sensor (g300) / crankshaft position sensor (g28), wrong allocation you can see the exhaust bank 3 mixture adaptation range 3, rich limit exceeded will delay your vw fault. |
05117 Possible Causes:
05117 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical

- Inspect all the connections intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
