When you open exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, electrical malfunction It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake o2 sensor negative current control bank 2 sensor 1, circuit high also engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
05117 Possible Causes:
05117 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 05117 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector control pressure sensor, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
