This something to do with the intake camshaft timing reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 2, circuit low it can suddenly lead to a significantly more linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / common ground wire, short to ground or change mass-airflow sensor 3 (g456), signal to high will delay your vw fault. |
05111 Possible Causes:
05111 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical

- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 05111 Code
- Inspect all the connections system too rich at higher load, bank 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
