05108 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing cylinder 9 above knock threshold retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start fuel injection valve 3 (n368), short to ground and ignition coil 'g' primary control, short to plus will delay your vw fault. |
05108 Possible Causes:
05108 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 05108 Code
- Inspect all the connections signal line for tiptronic: electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
