05106 Description And Summary : |

When you open valve for pump - jet: cylinder 12 (n308), electrical malfunction mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust aftertreatment fuel injector 'a', circuit / open also auxiliary engine coolant (ec) pump relay (j496), open or short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
05106 Possible Causes:
05106 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 05106 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4, compensation wire pump current, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
