This code were stamped on VW Engine case fuel fired heater, disabled retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start malfunction indication light (k83), short to ground and evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, performance will delay your vw fault. |
05104 Possible Causes:
05104 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 05104 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
