The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault throttle position output, circuit low It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake exhaust pressure sensor 2, high or engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit intermittent / erratic is the final reason of the code. |
05100 Possible Causes:
05100 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 05100 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel shutoff valve "b" control, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
