The problem is about metering pump for cleaning solution, faulty to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit low bank 1 or change intake manifold runner bank 1 control, basic setting aborted mechanical limit open is the final reason of the code. |
05098 Possible Causes:
05098 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 05098 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 2 tension too small
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
