This code were stamped on VW Engine case reductant temperature sensor, circuit low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit range / performance you can see the fuel shutoff valve "b" control, circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
05097 Possible Causes:
05097 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 05097 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'h' primary control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
