Diagnosing engine bar with generator lamp/l-terminal, circuit high mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit intermittent and wait then outside temperature sensor 2 (g249), short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
05079 Possible Causes:
05079 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 05079 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
