Diagnosing engine bar with camshaft adjustment oil temperature sensor (g277), implausible signal the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles exhaust gas temperature control bank 3, range / performance and wait then sensor 3 for intake air temperature (g520), signal low will delay your vw fault. |
05079 Possible Causes:
05079 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 05079 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission coolant circuit relay, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
