The problem is about direct ozone reduction catalyst temperature sensor, circuit low to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so relays for small amount of heat (j359), short-circuit after pluses and crankshaft position signal output, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
05078 Possible Causes:
05078 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 05078 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor 'e', maximum stop performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
