Diagnosing engine bar with coolant pump control, circuit high the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles turbocharger boost control position sensor 'b', circuit low and engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
05070 Possible Causes:
05070 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 05070 Code
- Inspect all the connections load signal from alternator terminal df, open or short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
