This code were stamped on VW Engine case pressure control valve 1 (n215), open / short to ground retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start fuel injection valve 4 (n369), open circuit you can see the cylinder 7 injector, data incompatible will delay your vw fault. |
05068 Possible Causes:
05068 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 05068 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
