05064 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid c (n388), signal high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start secondary air injection valve 3 (n384), circuit short to b+ you can see the secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
05064 Possible Causes:
05064 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 05064 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel tank pressure (ftp) sensor (g400), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
